Academic Plan

 

Upon completion of this Winter 2021 quarter, I have now successfully completed the core class requirements and electives to finish my Accelerated Paralegal Degree Certificate through Metropolitan Community College.

Below is a list of required paralegal core courses and elective courses I successfully completed.

Core Classes:

  • The Paralegal Profession – 4.5 credits
  • Business Law – 4.5 credits
  • MS Word for the Law Office – 4.5 credits
  • Introduction To Law – 4.5 credits
  • Legal Research and Writing I – 4.5 credits
  • Legal Research and Writing II – 4.5 credits
  • Litigation – 4.5 credits
  • Internship Course 1 - 4.5 credits 
  • Internship Course 2 - 4.5 credits 

Elective Classes:

  • Employment Law – 4.5 credits
  • Family Law - 4.5 credits 
  • Wills, Trusts & Estates - 4.5 credits
  • Torts - 4.5 credits 
  • Bankruptcy Credit and Collection - 4.5 credits

 

With the aforementioned core and elective courses, I have now fulfilled the course requirements to complete my paralegal certificate through Metropolitan Community College. Despite completion of my degree requirements, this upcoming Spring and Summer Quarter 2022 I plan to take the courses listed below (one each quarter) to continue to enhance my paralegal education. 

  • Criminal Law & Procedures - 4.5 credits 
  • Evidence and Discovery - 4.5 credits

 

Throughout the majority of my education, I have been named to the Metropolitan Community College Dean's List. My Cumulative GPA is a 3.792.

I will graduate with my Accelerated Paralegal Degree Certificate in May 2022.
